Here at Proline we not only offer Comprehensive Plumbing Services, we also perform Gas piping, Cancellation, Re-location, Line installation, Pipe fitting and Leak repair services for both Residential and Commercial vicinities. Depending on the needs of the project, we use two different types of gas piping:

CSST piping (Pro-flex piping) – commonly used in new homes, remodels, additions and hard to access areas due to its ability to confine to small/tight spaces and its flexible properties. CSST piping is a lot lighter, takes fewer resources to install, is easier to maneuver around electrical wiring, and has been extensively tested and proven to withstand natural disasters. Flex piping is also much less likely to leak due to the fact it only connects on two ends

Black iron – most commonly found in older homes and commercial buildings, black iron piping has grown to be less popular due to its cause of gas leaks and fires. Although much heavier and appearing to be more durable, black iron piping has many joints enabling it to leak. The rigid piping also has poor ability to withstand natural disasters and can crack and deteriorate over time. Black iron piping is also much harder to install, cut, and maneuver around obstacles due to its size, weight, and lack of flexibility. An advantage of this piping is that is does come much cheaper than Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST)
